PJSC "Ukrainian-Polish Higher Educational Institution" Central European University ", accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine at the highest level IV (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 20, 2017 No. 9-l (re-registration), was founded as Kyiv Institute for the Humanities in 1994 and became one of the first private higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

   Today, the University prepares highly skilled professionals, looks confidently in the future, develops international cooperation, expands Ukraine's foreign educational horizons and contributes to the construction of an open democratic society.

   The Faculty of International Relations and the Romance-Germanic Philology, the Faculty of Economics and the International College of Environmental Information Security operate in the structure of the University.

​

   At the faculties of the University the Bachelor and Master degrees are being trained, retrained according to the programs of the educational qualification levels in the fields of knowledge: "Humanities" - Philology (English, German, French); "International Relations" – International Relations, Public Communication and Regional Studies (within-depth study of English, German, French, Polish, Norwegian); "Management and administration" - Management, Marketing, Finance, Banking and Insurance.

   The International College of Environmental Information Security carries out the training of the educational qualification level "junior specialist" in the fields of "Applied Ecology" in the areas of forestry and nature reserves, food processing and processing industry; "Organization of production" – training of assistant managers, technologists in production, inspectors of personnel in organizations, institutions and enterprises; "Assessment activity": an expert on the assessment of real estate, land, property, determining the value of the production line at the enterprise, estimating the damage caused in the car accident.

   The acquisition of higher education by Ukrainians in educational institutions of the European Union is becoming more and more relevant in the modern educational space.

​

   The Ukrainian-Polish higher education institution "Central European University" has successfully integrated into the European educational space, which allows Ukrainian students to acquire a foreign experience of professional training in the EU, together with the leading universities of the Republic of Poland and Switzerland, implements the program of "double diplomas".

​

   The University has developed a joint bachelor and master program for study programs at the Academy of Business in Dombrowa Gornicia (Republic of Poland) and OUS Switzerland (Lucerne, Switzerland). This is an international program aimed at giving Ukrainian young people the opportunity to obtain higher education and receive a Bachelor's and Master's degree diploma while studying in Ukraine.

   The uniqueness of this program is that the training will be carried out simultaneously in Polish, Swiss and Ukrainian higher education institutions through integrated curricula using innovative teaching technologies. The educational process involves: providing high quality education in accordance with international standards; in-depth study of English, German and Polish languages; semester training and passing of practice and intern ship abroad; help and counseling in employment. Graduates will be able to continue their education or work in the European Union.

   Participants of the "double diploma" program of our University receive:

- state diploma of the European Union (Poland and Switzerland) together with the diploma of Ukraine;

- qualitative training in European educational programs;

- study of foreign languages (English, German, French, Polish);

- participation in academic exchange programs;

- ability to work while staying abroad.

 

   Our goal is to prepare an economically independent and competitive specialist, and we successfully implement this goal.
